Testimonials

I have been in the position to work with electricity industry leaders from across the country on critical issues regarding our Nation’s ability to ensure reliable, affordable, and safe electric service now and into the future. Lee Krevat stands out as a true visionary among an extraordinary group of experts.

Eric Lightner, Director, Smart Grid Task Force,
U.S. Department of Energy

Lee has been instrumental in guiding the company’s policies and initiatives that have led to our receiving countless awards for leadership in advancing the state of new technological breakthroughs in our industry. Lee represents the very best that SDG&E has to offer.

As a leader in everything “Smart Grid,” to never accepting the status quo, Lee continues to lead the way toward a brighter future for our industry.

Jim Avery, Director,
WECC (Western Electricity Coordinating Council)

The utility industry as a whole has not changed much since the days of Thomas Edison. Lee was one of the first people in over a hundred years to challenge the status quo and see things differently. The vision of a smarter electric grid conceived by Lee is transforming the entire energy value chain. Smart Grid enables us to use renewable energy resources, integrate electric vehicles, manage the grid more efficiently, prevent outages and provide customers with ability to more effectively manage their energy consumption and bills.

Just as important as all of Lee’s industry achievements are his leadership skills. In addition to being able to unite diverse groups of individuals around a common vision, Lee also maintains high level of integrity and genuinely cares for others. Over the years, I have witnessed Lee mentor and coach many professionals.

Elizaveta Malashenko, Director
California Public Utilities Commission

Lee is passionate about the need to advance the modernization of our electric grid to ensure it is ready to enable a sustainable energy future and can integrate new distributed energy resources such as roof top solar and electric vehicles. He led the effort to develop the [Grid Modernization] index criteria and then introduced the 2013 GMI results at the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners Summer Meeting in July. This would not have been possible without Lee’s leadership.
